This is the first of two mixtapes I made for my sister Jessa; highlights include:

• Gil Scott-Heron’s track Is That Jazz? dubbed from the 1983 documentary Black Wax.
• Thelma Houston’s I’ve Got The Music In Me (I edited and replaced the original ending with the finale from the ‘reprise’ cut).
• Elza Soares, the horns, and the trombone on Quero Morrer No Carnaval.

After 3 months of searching for my purrfect cat at the shelters, a volunteer turned me on to PetHarbor, a national database of lost & found pets.
